Our Story
At Prism & Co. Publishing, we believe stories have the power to inspire, encourage, and remind us of what truly matters. Our company was created from a deeply personal place, rooted in faith, love, and the belief that every person has a story worth sharing.
The Heart Behind Prism & Co.
Prism & Co. Publishing was founded by Tiffany Baker with a vision to create meaningful stories that celebrate faith, friendship, inclusion, and the beauty of being uniquely made.
The inspiration behind our journey comes from someone who changed our lives in ways words can hardly express: my sister, Chantell.
Chantell was born with Smith-Magenis syndrome, a rare genetic condition that shaped many aspects of her life. But her story was never defined by a diagnosis.
She was known for her beautiful smile, her bold personality, her unforgettable hugs, and the joy she brought to the people around her.
Being her sister taught me that differences are not something to hide or overcome to become worthy of love. They are part of what makes each person wonderfully unique.
After losing Chantell, I wanted to find a meaningful way to honor her life, share her story, and help others see the beauty in every individual.
That desire became the foundation of Prism & Co. Publishing.
A Story That Started It All
Our first book, The Way God Made Me, was inspired by Chantell's life and the lessons she taught me about faith, friendship, and living beyond expectations.
Through this story, I wanted to create something that would help children understand that everyone deserves friendship, acceptance, and the opportunity to be seen for who they truly are.
It was important to me that the story reflected the joy, faith, and love that made Chantell who she was.
More than anything, I wanted children to understand that they do not have to be like everyone else to belong.
God made each of us with purpose, and our differences do not make us any less deserving of love.

MORE THAN A BOOK
Prism & Co. Publishing is more than a publishing company. It is a reflection of the love that inspired it, the faith that continues to guide it, and the purpose behind every story we create.
Through our books and the conversations they inspire, we hope to help children understand that belonging does not require sameness.
It begins with kindness, understanding, and recognizing the beauty in one another. And through it all, we hope Chantell's story continues to make a difference.
